Berrow Beach is a huge stretch of sandy coastline backed by beautiful dunes, with miles of space for a seaside walk with your dog. Dogs are welcome throughout the year, and at low tide you can even spot the atmospheric wreck of the SS Nornen.

Dogs are welcome on Berrow Beach all year round with no seasonal dog ban. Dogs must be kept under control or on a lead, and owners must clean up after them and use the bins provided.

Dog access
There are no seasonal dog restrictions on Berrow Beach. Somerset Council confirms dogs are allowed all year from north of Maddocks Slade through Berrow Beach and Brean Beach to Brean Down. Dogs must be under control or on a lead.
Parking and accessibility
Somerset CouncilVehicle access onto beach. Summer wardens generally 10am–6pm. Permanent parking also available near the access road/nature reserve.

Berrow Dunes are an SSSI, so dogs shouldn't be allowed to disturb wildlife/dune habitats.
